Born in Seoul, South Korea, I spent my childhood in Christchurch, New Zealand, fine tuning my rugby skills before settling into life as an Aussie in Sydney, Australia.

I received a Bachelor of Education at Sydney University, spending five weeks in rural Dubbo as part of my teaching practicum. During my degree, I spent one semester at the University of Georgia, USA, on a university exchange program.

For two summers, I spent my twenties living in Cairns, Australia, learning the art of deep sea diving. I currently reside in London, United Kingdom. I can often be found eating a katsu wrap on any given Saturday at Broadway Market, always an advocate for East London culture.
